CRUISE FM PUBLIC FILE

Although not licenced by Ofcom, as Cruise FM only broadcasts through the internet, using various portals such as tune-in, our own player app and Pure Connect we have decided to place a public file on the website to give you an idea of what you can expect from Cruise FM. We hold the necessary licences provided by PRS for Music and PPL to broadcast online, and this is indicated by the use of their logos on the home page of this website.

An up-to-date version of the station's programme schedule is available here.

Automation

In order to provide a 24/7 service there is the use of automated music output which is provided by the station's playout software which is supplied by StationPlaylist. The system allows for live, pre-recorded and automated output and ensures that the station is always on air. The system also monitored to alert station staff of any problems with the transmission feed so that any interuption can be dealt with quickly.

Music Playlist

Cruise FM prides itself on the wide variety of music that is included within the programme service. The music core choice ranges from 1964 to the current music charts with a sprinkling of new and pre-release songs, the database does contain music prior to 1964 so that could be incorporated into the programme service as required. The weekly playlist is published on the website and is available here.
